With a launch scheduled for October 2024, the Activision team announces the arrival of the Open Beta period for the next chapter in the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty Black Ops 6. The sixth installment in the Black Ops subseries sees the return of Frank Woods, along with his protégé Troy Marshall, in an exciting new campaign with missions around the globe. Black Ops 6 is already available for pre-order, with different editions offering interesting bonuses as well as a brand new option for the series, making it more accessible to (almost) all players.


The Editions of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6

As usual for the COD series, Treyarch’s Black Ops 6 remains very straightforward with only 2 game versions. The Standard Edition, the classic edition with the base game, and the Vault Edition, which includes additional packages available at launch. A small note to keep in mind is the situation with the Physical version for PS5, which will not be backward compatible with PS4, whereas the Physical PS4 version (called the Cross Gen Bundle) will be compatible with PS5.
