Xbox Game Pass October 2023 Joining Titles

September was a great month for Game Pass subscribers with the number of games and the quality of games that joined its library. If you just signed up for a subscription, it was definitely a good month to do so.

As we start October, we are welcoming eight new games to join the roster. Of the list, five much awaited games will launch on day one. The AAA game, Forza Motorsport, joining Game Pass is a much celebrated news across subscribers as it’s the first of the series to launch in the service on day-one.

As seen last month with Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy joining the service late in the month, it is highly possible that the October list will get longer too.

For now though, here’s the list of the games joining Game Pass.

 

Gotham Knights

   

Gotham Knights is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 3, 2023. In this open-world, action RPG set in the most dynamic and interactive Gotham City yet, you can play as Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, or Robin as you patrol Gotham’s five distinct boroughs and drop in on criminal activity wherever you find it.

 
 

The Lamplighters League

   

The Lamplighters League is coming to Xbox Game Pass also on October 3, 2023 as a day-one launch. This turn-based tactics game from Harebrained Schemes puts you in control of a team of misfits and scoundrels who must stop a tyrannical cult from taking over the world.

Set in an alternate 1930s, The Lamplighters League features a unique combination of real-time infiltration and turn-based combat. You’ll need to use all of your characters’ unique abilities to sneak past enemies, gather intel, and position yourself for victory.

 
 

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

   

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is coming to Game Pass on October 4, 2023. This popular cooperative first-person action game is set in the grim darkness of the far future where players must work together to survive against hordes of enemies.

Choose your class, customize your character, and fight your way through the hive city of Tertium. Use a variety of weapons and abilities to defeat enemies, and work together with your teammates to complete missions and quests.

 
 

Forza Motorsport

   

Forza Motorsport 2023 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 10, 2023. This is the first time that a Forza Motorsport game will be available on Game Pass on launch day.

Forza Motorsport is a racing simulation game that is known for its realistic graphics, physics, and handling. The new game will feature over 500 cars, including a variety of new and returning vehicles. Forza Motorsport will also feature a new dynamic weather system and a new day and night cycle.

 
 

Like a Dragon: Ishin!

   

Like a Dragon: Ishin, a remake of the 2014 Yakuza: Ishin! game, is also now joining Game Pass for both console and PC on October 17, 2023. This action-adventure game is set in the Bakumatsu period of Japanese history, a time of great turmoil and upheaval. Here, you take on the role of Sakamoto Ryoma, a samurai who seeks to avenge his father’s death and restore honor to his clan.

Ishin is a visually stunning game, with detailed environments and character models. The combat is also excellent, with a variety of different styles to choose from, including swordsman, gunman, wild dancer, and brawler. Each style has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, so players can experiment to find what works best for them

 
 

F1 Manager 23

   

F1 Manager 2023 is the official racing management simulation game of Formula racing and the second installment to the F1 Manager series. Take on the role of Team Principal and be in charge of recruiting team engineers and drivers, develop and upgrade your cars, managing finances, and creating race strategies.

Although not initially announced as part of this month’s Game Pass entries, F1 Manager has raced its way to the subscription service. Start playing this critically acclaimed simulation game on October 19, 2023.

 
 

Cities: Skylines 2

   

Cities: Skylines 2, the sequel to the popular city-building game, is coming to Xbox Game Pass on launch day, October 24, 2023. Build your dream city with more detailed maps, new districts and buildings, and a more realistic traffic and economy system. Play with friends in the new multiplayer mode.

 
 

Mineko’s Night Market

   

Mineko’s Night Market is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 26, 2023. This heartwarming narrative-driven adventure game invites players to explore a charming Japanese-inspired island, craft whimsical items, eat delicious snacks, and enjoy the company of many, many cats.

 
 

Dead Space

   

Dead Space is a survival horror video game originally released in 2008. A remake that was released early this year will be making its way to PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate members’ screens through EA Play on October 26, 2023.

The game is set on the USG Ishimura, a mining spaceship that has been overrun by grotesque monsters known as Necromorphs. You will take on the role of Isaac Clarke, an engineer who must fight his way through the ship and rescue his missing partner. The game is popular for its dark atmosphere, its gruesome combat system, and its unique puzzles.

 
 

Frog Detective The Entire Mystery

   

Frog Detective is a point-and-click adventure game from 2018 which has now entered Game Pass for console and cloud gaming on October 26, 2023. Here you will take on the role of a frog detective who is hired to investigate various mysteries.

The game is known for its quirky characters, humorous writing, and charming art style. The gameplay is relatively straightforward, with the player exploring different environments, talking to characters, and collecting clues in order to solve the mysteries.

 
 

Headbangers: Rhythm Royale

   

Headbangers: Rhythm Royale is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 31, 2023. It’s one of the two games arriving in the service on this day, both of which are on day-one. This rhythmic battle royale game pits players against each other in a series of musical minigames. Players must use their rhythm skills to survive and be the last pigeon standing.

Headbangers: Rhythm Royale features a variety of different minigames, each with its own unique challenges.

 
 

Jusant (PC)

   

Jusant, the action-puzzle climbing game, is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 31, 2023. This is the second day-one game joining the service this month. It also marks the last game in the lineup, for now.

Climb a mysterious and ever-changing tower, solve puzzles, and unravel its secrets. Master unique climbing mechanics and manage your stamina to survive.
