Rockstar Games has teased fans with the upcoming GTA Online December update, promising new challenges, fresh rewards, and plenty of festive surprises for players. What’s more, players can earn exclusive December rewards by completing community challenges in November.
GTA Online continues to get updates and new features ahead of the highly anticipated GTA 6. In its latest content update post, Rockstar has revealed new missions for December in which you’ll launch daring robberies.
The GTA Online December update comes in time for the holiday period and follows a new community challenge yet to be officially unveiled by Rockstar. Players can look forward to new heist challenges and exclusive seasonal rewards.

The GTA Online December update sees players take control of the Darnell Bros Garment Factory, where they’ll turn it into a hive for clandestine infiltration operations to “launch a bevy of thrilling and strategic new robberies.”
The update includes new Dispatch Work missions, new vehicles, upgrades for the Benefactor Terrobyte, and Job Creator updates. A new Collectible Scanner will help players find items like action figures and movie props when nearby. Players will also earn exclusive rewards, given in December, for participating in the upcoming November community challenge.
GTA Online’s December update is a commitment by Rockstar to continue supporting the game and community despite the focus shifting to GTA 6. Rockstar promises future updates and enhancements as part of the ongoing GTA online support, including bringing the enhanced features found on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version to PC in 2025.
