What is inZoi?

Let’s quickly revisit what inZoi is all about. Like Sims, inZoi is a life simulation game, where you control the lives of your own characters. However, compared to Sims, inZoi offers many new features, like driving a car, which players can control themselves. The art style is also entirely different, with a more realistic and highly detailed look.

In the game, your Zoi (characters) can also die from accidents, for example. But you can rewind time slightly to prevent it and change the course of events. Your Zoi can also build relationships and fall in love with NPCs, with a system that goes deeper than in the Sims. You can adjust world parameters in advance to make other Zoi friendlier or adjust other details.

Why Was inZoi Delayed?

inZoi was initially set for release this year, but anticipation faded as no official date was announced. Today, the producer and developer Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim confirmed via Discord that the release will be postponed.

In his post, Kjun first thanked all fans for their immense interest. He explained that, based on feedback from playtesters and users of the “inZOI: Character Studio,” the studio decided to postpone the release to March 28, 2025 for an Early Access launch. This additional time is meant to ensure the best possible start for the game.
